Getting the most from MDM Creative, Inc.

I want to make it as easy as possible for you to benefit from my years of marketing and advertising experience. Although ultimately I find that I’m able to offer clients the best chance of success when I’m involved with them in developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and advertising plan, I am happy to offer my services in many other capacities. If you have limited dollars, (and we all do) one of the most cost effective marketing strategies that you can use is knowing when and at what point to involve a marketing professional. Obviously, if you can afford it, it’s best to involve a pro in every aspect. If that’s not feasible, consider involving me in your business in the following ways:

  • Analysis of marketing efforts: You’ve done a limited amount of marketing and need some overall direction. I will sit down with you and analyze what you’ve done and what’s feasible and realistic for you to accomplish on your own.

    Cost: $85 per hour. Usually takes 2 - 4 hours.

  • Developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP): Do you really know what makes your company or product unique? Is your stated USP really supported in every part of your marketing, advertising, and customer service initiatives? What would your employees and customers say about your USP? I will work with you to develop this absolutely foundational aspect of any marketing or advertising initiative that you may pursue in the future.

    Cost: $85 per hour. Usually takes 4 - 8 hours. Could include customer research.

  • Presentation analysis: If you make sales presentations, how effective are they? Are your materials telling your clients one thing and your sales pitch telling them another? Sometimes refining your presentation can make all the difference in your sales success. Sales training can tell you how to sell, but almost never includes analysis of your presentation and marketing materials. Consistency of message and image is crucial.

    Cost: $85 per hour. Usually takes 2 - 4 hours.

  • Developing a marketing plan: I will guide you through the sometimes difficult process of developing a marketing plan. This process can be simple or complex, depending what you would like to accomplish.

    Cost: $500 - $1,500 depending on complexity. Includes reimbursement of a portion of the cost if marketing plan is implemented using my services.

  • Customer analysis: This program consists of developing a customized questionnaire for your customers that tells you why they bought from you in the past, why they do or don’t buy from you now, who your competitors are, where they look when they’re ready to buy your services, and what they REALLY think of you. This research is very helpful in formulating your USP.

    Cost: $1,500. Includes developing questionnaire, making 10 - 12 calls to your past clients, and analysis.

Creative Design Services:
  • Brochure development: If your brochure needs updating, I will work with you to refine the sales message and make sure the look is consistent with your overall branding image. I can also create a brochure or other promotional material for you from scratch.

    Cost: Varies depending on project.

  • Sales sheets and other promotional material: A well planned sales sheet can be an extremely effective sales tool. I will work with you to develop a strong message, an effective offer, and a creative, eye-catching design that will attract attention and increase sales.

    Cost: Varies depending on project.

  • Logo and identity development: I will work with you to design an effective logo and give guidance in implementing the logo consistently throughout your business to give you a powerful visual brand identity.

    Cost: $1,500 - $2,000 for a logo. $1,000 for an identity package (Letterhead, business card, envelopes)

Advertising Services:
  • Advertising generally means any type of paid media such as magazine or newspaper ads, radio spots, TV spots, billboards, bus or transit boards, etc. I have experience in all of these areas and can help you create a single ad or a complete campaign. If you are going to be spending any money purchasing ad space in any publication, I encourage you to talk to me first to get an analysis of the media that you are buying and get help designing an effective ad. Otherwise, you may be wasting your money.

    Cost: Varies depending on project.

Direct Mail:
  • Direct mail comes in many forms, from a simple postcard or offer on your letterhead to a full-blown multi-stage, highly produced mailing campaign. It’s all a matter of what your product is and what you’d like to accomplish. For the small business, consistently sending well produced postcards with a strong focused message to a good mailing list is probably one of the most cost effective ways to advertise your business. Talk to me before you spend money putting together a program.
